Chris Masters in conversation with Fran Kelly

NEW VENUE ANNOUNCED TO MEET DEMAND // PREVIOUSLY SOLD OUT // MORE TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE

If there was a Victoria Cross for bravery in journalism, Chris Masters deserves to receive it.’ — Phillip Adams

There’s seriously no one else in Australia with the knowledge that Chris Masters has in relation to Australian Special Forces in Afghanistan.’ — Former Commando Major

In his new book Flawed Hero, Gold Walkley Award winning journalist Chris Masters tells the shocking story of the case against Australia’s most highly decorated soldier, Ben Roberts-Smith VC MG, and the defamation trial of the century.

Join him on Thursday 13 July at Balmain Town Hall (new venue!) in conversation with Fran Kelly, one of Australia’s leading interviewers and political commentators and former host ABC RN Breakfast.

Copies of Flawed Hero (out 12 July with Allen & Unwin) will be available for purchase at the venue through Roaring Stories, with Masters signing copies after the discussion.

Attendees are asked to arrive at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Seating is unallocated – another reason to arrive early to secure an optimal spot. Please note that this new venue is not catered.

If you miss out on a ticket, you can still watch the event as it is livestreamed from the Roaring Stories Facebook page (accessible on the Home page and from the Live tab). A recording will also be available to view later as an upload on the Roaring Stories YouTube channel.
