Louise Milligan in conversation with Benjamin Law

A gripping, propulsive and brilliantly original debut by award-winning investigative journalist and writer Louise Milligan.

Kate Delaney has made the biggest mistake of her life. She picked the wrong guy to humiliate on a girls’ night out and now she is living every woman’s worst nightmare. Kate finds herself brutalised, bound and gagged in the back of a car being driven god knows where by a man whose name she doesn’t know, and she is petrified about what’s in store for her.

As a journalist who is haunted by the crimes she’s had to report over her career, Kate is terrifyingly familiar with the statistics about women who go missing—and the fear and trauma behind the headlines. She knows only too well how those stories usually end.

On Wednesday 3rd April at White Bay Beer Co, join Louise Milligan in conversation with Benjamin Law.

Copies of Pheasants Nest will be available for purchase at the venue through Roaring Stories, with Milligan signing copies after the discussion.

Attendees are asked to arrive at 6.30pm or earlier for a 7pm start at White Bay Beer Co. Seating is unallocated – another reason to arrive early to secure an optimal spot!

The bar opens 6pm and closes at 9.30pm on the night of the event. Settle in and grab a drink before or after, with an incredible range of locally brewed beers and other beverages to enjoy.

White Bay has teamed up with Balmain Pizza legends Tipo 00 Balmain to take over the brewery kitchen, serving their classic pizza’s along with a rotating weekly special. So why not make a full evening of it and come for dinner too? You can order before or after the event.

If you miss out on a ticket, you can still watch the event, a recording will also be available to view later as an upload on the Roaring Stories YouTube channel.
