How am I? How am I? How do you think I am? I know in the Before Times the tradition was to reply, ‘I’m fine, thanks.’ Then you would ask how they were, and they would reply, ‘I’m fine, thanks.’ And then we would all get on with our lives. But I can’t play my part in that pantomime anymore. I cannot say, ‘I am fine, thanks,’ because (spoilers) I am not fine, thanks.

Good sense, good jokes, and good WIL – the new book by popular comedian and Gruen host Wil Anderson is about enduring turbulent times with humour, community and just a dash of Apple Cider Vinegar.

On Wednesday 9 November, join Wil in conversation with Lucinda Price (aka Froomes), the well-known writer, presenter, comedian, podcaster and radio host, about I Am NOT Fine, Thanks and more.

Pre-signed copies of I Am NOT Fine, Thanks will be available for purchase at the venue through Roaring Stories and instore. (Please note an author signing meet and greet with audience post event isn’t possible.)

Attendees are asked to arrive at 6.30pm or earlier for a 7pm start at White Bay Beer Co. Seating is unallocated – another reason to arrive early to secure an optimal spot!

The bar opens 6pm and closes at 9.30pm on the night of the event, making for an opportune time to settle in and grab a drink before or after, with an incredible range of locally brewed beers and other beverages to enjoy. There’ll be plenty of delicious food available too thanks to a special event caterer Agape, so why not make a full evening of it and come for dinner too? You can order before or after the event.
